Elliptical This range of two flute 1/2" shank cutters produces a traditional elliptical profile in two sizes. This cutter is generally used to produce decorative table top edges with or without quirks on the top or side. The cutter may however find many other uses for decorative profiling, including architraves, dressers etc. The cutter is supplied with a TB501 bearing fitted, but can also be used with a fence. Alternative bearings may be selected from the table (click the more info link) to vary the quirk dimension "G". The T1372½ cutter has a large overall diameter and should ideally be used in a stationary machine at approximately 12,000 to 14,000 rpm. Optional bearings...
