RABBETING – ADJUSTABLE (large series)

This large diameter heavy duty rebate cutter may be used with guide bearings to
produce rebates up to 26mm in width on straight or curved work. If used without a
bearing, wide rebates may be produced by multiple passes. Guide bearings are
supplied separately and should be selected from the table below depending on the
rebate width (A) required.
This is a large cutter and needs to be used at reduced speed - maximum 16,000 rpm.
CUTTERS SUPPLIED WITHOUT BEARINGS – ORDER BEARINGS AS REQUIRED.

TR320 14.0mm Rebate widths are controlled by
TR300 15.0mm the size of the bearing as shown in
TR280 16.0mm the table on the left. Rebates from
TR260 17.0mm 12.7mm to 20mm use an alloy ring
fitted with 2 bearings. Rebates of
TR240 18.0mm
TR220 19.0mm 20.5mm and above use single
TR200 20.0mm bearings.
TB744 20.5mm PLEASE NOTE: bearings from the
TB675 21.5mm smaller rebate cutters T1704 and
TB216 22.0mm T1714 series will not fit on this
cutter as they use a different
TB413 22.5mm
centre bore size.

RADIUS SUNK BEAD

An extended shank cutter to produce a radius sunk bead. The cutter is supplied without a
guide bearing, but a bearing kit is available which should be ordered separately. The
bearing kit will set the bead depth to dimension ‘A’ but other size bearings are available
to give a greater depth of cut: please ask for details.
